HPC to Host Town Halls
Town Hall is a monthly meeting hosted in order to create a unified learning environment with the Latinx community of Texas A&M University. The meetings will consist of a presentation on a topic of interest, discussion, and ultimately talk about any current events that may be affecting the Latinx community. Through Town Hall, HPC strives to continue to empower and unite the Latinx community.
On Monday, February 19th at 5:30 PM in room 144 of the John J. Koldus Building, the Hispanic Presidents' Council will begin hosting Town Halls. This first meeting will cover the fairly new term "Latinx," how the word came to be and how we identify with it. There will also be an introduction of fellow students who are in the running for a position on the Student Senate and as class president to represent the Latinx community.
